Canine Physical Therapy Service

We do not refer to our services as "Physical Therapy" because it is illegal to use that term in the state of Texas. The terms "physical therapy" and "physical therapist" are protected and regulated by the Physical Therapy Practice Act, which is overseen by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

"Physical Therapy" only encompasses services provided to "persons" and cannot be used to describe services provided to our pets. A physical therapist must complete years of post-graduate education, pass board exams, and obtain licensure to practice physical therapy and use this title. Ongoing continuing education is required for license renewal, ensuring competencies with updated skills and knowledge. This depth of study provides physical therapists with exceptional knowledge to prevent, identify, correct, or alleviate acute or prolonged movement dysfunction or pain; in short, physical therapists are experts in restoring comfort and mobility!

Provider qualifications are key to ensuring quality care and optimal outcomes for your pets!
